This is why Issey Miyake is one of my favorite designers, check out his new shop in Parco in Shibuya, Tokyo, designed by Nendo.

Saw this on Selectism a Portrait of a Family by Richard Avedon, featuring the Kennedys.
I love looking at classic pictures like this, especially of a family that symbolized America during its generation, then & now.

The exhibit is taking place at the Peabody Essex Museum, in Salem, MA.
Went to the Museum of Contemporary Art last weekend.
Checked out the collection, Moca's First Thirty Years.
A pretty extensive collection, being featured across the Moca Grand Avenue, and the Geffen Contemporary in Little Tokyo. It featured so many artists work ranging from Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Sam Francis, Jeff Koons, Edward Ruscha, Jean-Michel Basquiat and the list goes on and on.
Here are some of my favorites, I'm a little bias towards Rauschenberg because he's my favorite...

Here's a few others stuff...

Lastly, thought this was funny.

Just checked this out on Trendland, artwork by French artist Thomas Lelu.
I'm really liking this artwork, here's the description listed on Trendland of Thomas:
Born and based in Paris, Thomas Lelu is a writer and artist represented by the Dominique Fiat Gallery in Paris, He is also the new Art Director of PLayBoy France. For those painting, Thomas used acrylic paints on some vintage erotic magazines – And if you are in Paris you can go check the exhibit at the Fiat gallery [11am to 7pm - 16, rue des Coutures Saint-Gervais 75003 Paris].
Check it.

Stopped by Marco Bollinger's art show, LA vs TOKYO, this past Friday in Santa Monica, CA.
Marco is responsible for the shooting of all the latest Five Four campaigns + look books. Check out his photography show, comparing LA & Tokyo. We wish him the best of luck on his big move to Tokyo to pursue photography, for the next couple of months.
Hopefully Five Four can come visit there in the next few months!
