Also, congrats to our friend Ryan Braun from the Milwaukee Brewers who got called up from Triple A to the Majors, best of luck Ryan!
Been a busy week at Five Four as usual, had two special guests stop by for business. Peter Mintz and Daymon Green, they came in town for a few days to meet, greet and celebrate.
Took them out one night, these guys still love to party...
Peter looks like Popeye the Sailorman.

Daymon was getting drizzy.

On Saturday morning went down to Scottsdale for the night to celebrate Matt Leinart's birthday. The day party was at the pool at the Mondrian and night party at some club by there, forget the name of it.
The pool party was nuts...

Dee couldn't find his sandals for a minute, so he was hopping around in Christines...not a good look.

Left my camera before we went out, no pics of the club night...until next time.
It's good to be back home in L.A. after a wild weekend in Vegas.
Dee, Christine, J Dubb and myself received a soccer training session from our friend Dean last Monday night. It was quite the experience, we look forward to the next one.
Dean greets us as we enter the field.

The field was quite nice.

Next day Eric D-Lux and DJ Skratchy came by to pay us a visit to recap our wild Vegas weekend and give me some mp3s...

Amanda's dog is quite a delight, it doesn't really bark, piss or complain...I wish all girls were like this.

Dee and Christine gave me my birthday present, white Louis Vuitton sandals...these are super hot!!!

Gomez Warren IV is always quite an interesting visitor. He talks for most of the time while he is here and is always the entertainment of the day whenever he comes by the office. Today he brought along his brand new baby along with his daughter Galia down to the Five Four offices.

Paid a visit by the X-Large store in L.A. for the Logan Hicks art show.

His recent work is very nice, I tried to buy a piece but it was already taken by the time I got there.

Dee and J-Dubb always setting the party off right.

I met Jason Markk that night, he recently came out with a product that helps clean your sneakers. He sent me a care package in the mail, I actually just used the product last night to clean by Dior kicks and it worked like a charm. I highly recommend his sneaker cleaning solution. Here he is posing for the camera, along with J Dubb and resident evil Mr. Rickey Kim in the background.

The Five Four / New Era hats were nicely on display for the evening.

Dee and I had the pleasure of meeting Eli Bonerz, founder of X-Large. He started his brand in the early 90's and was one of the first entrepreneurs in the streetwear fashion scene. Much props and respect to him for all of his accomplishments and for setting an example for many to follow.

Wow, thank God my birthday weekend is over. I'm back at work grinding away as usual.
It was definitely a wild one, to say the least.
I had about 20 of my friends from L.A. join me for the festivities. A wild weekend that was planned for a few weeks finally came to fruition, oh boy...
We started out with a dinner at Tao...

Stevie looks frightened at Anthony eating...

It was also Brooke's birthday and she surprised everyone by showing up to my big bash, she helped me blow out the cake at dinner. Always a good time when B Dot comes.

My fortune at dinner read the following...

My shoes for the night were none other than my favorite, Dior Homme. These were really fierce to say the least.

We proceeded to go up to the club area after a great dinner, ready for a night of debauchery. Always a great site to see.

Tyson is always balling out of control.

He brought two of his lady playmate friends along for the festivities.

Gloria is always dancing up the night away.

My friend Anthony joined me for the night, he was one of my closest friends growing up through elementary school, glad he was able to ring in the big 2-7 along with me.

Brian Toll set up the whole party for me, he definitely pulled a great weekend for all of us. He also had the club do a big birthday celebration for me along with a cake, audience singing and all...

This is Brian...doesn't look by the sites he could pull much off, but he did...

Sometimes he thinks he is quite the man.

His brother Jeff is not so photogenic however, as he looks a little challenged in this photo below.

Brian's girl Katie was quite the party starter, being so gracious to serve drinks with 3/4 vodka.

Mike Snedegar from Tao always takes care of us.

Katie sure loves the bottle.

So does Lili.

So does Sarah.

And me too.

Eric Kim from Monarchy made a rare appearance, he came in just for the night to celebrate.

Party time anyone?

Mikey Lev always keeping it gangsta'.

DJ Skratchy, who I coincidentally went to elementary school with, and even served as altar boys together (no we weren't touched by any priests) is now a weekly resident DJ at Tao. He definitely participated in the debauchery that took place. Here he is with myself and Mike from Tao post-party in the Venetian.

After hours Vegas room parties are always interesting...

The next morning after we all woke up in a daze, we headed off to the Tao Beach Club at Venetian. Can't beat the sun, drinks, good music and topless women...

Jackie and Sarah were all smiles poolside.

Sooooooo, after that escapade, and most of the people had left back to L.A., the lone people standing were Brian, Katie, J Dubb and myself. We went to a great dinner at the Palms and the only ones to make it out were J Dubb and myself. Oh well, we went to go seize the night.
Met up with Eric D-Lux, DJ Skratchy and DJ Vice who were all spinning at Tao again. Went up to the DJ booth for a bit to hang out with them, fun times...

D-Lux won a bunch of money on the tables a few hours previous, he was quite happy at his recent good fortune.

Randomly, at around 3am, these 3 guys came out dressed like Sesame Street characters. It was pretty dope, pretty strange and pretty bizarre. Whatever, who cares, it's Vegas...

Peep the video below of Big Bird and friends...
Towards the end of the night as the club started to clear out, J Dubb decided to play light technician for a minute, this was hilarious.

Night ended in some suite at the Hard Rock around 7:30am, next day Mothers Day. Needed to look dapper for my Mothers Day celebration. Showed up on time, with flowers and all for my mom, she was quite happy, hopefully she doesn't read this blog to see where I had just come from...
So this past weekend was insane in Vegas. It was the Mayweather / De La Hoya fight along with another huge event, Oliver Trevena's birthday party. It so happened to be my birthday as well on Monday, May 7th, however I'm doing my Vegas party this upcoming weekend. Since Oli is one of my closest friends, we decided to not compete with our parties and just do them back to back weekends, giving us good excuses to make two trips out to Vegas.
We took off on Saturday on a private jet, the crew was ready for the long weekend ahead...
Myself, Zen, Oli and Seth are part of the crew of 7.

It was a big group of us so we couldn't all get tickets to go see the fight. We had a table arranged at a local bar for all of us to go check out the fight since you couldn't view the fight in any of the other hotels...
Mayweather's outfit was ridiculous.

The crew headed back to the Hard Rock for a steak dinner at Simon.
Oli's parents and brother came in from London for the festivities. Trish, Oli, Robbie, Chris, myself, Big Chris and Mike are ready for the night ahead.

Oli started out the night the right way, triple kiss with some random group of girls.
Post kiss he was all smiles.

The rest of the night was wild, ended it at around 5am.
Woke up the next morning and headed to Rehab, the pool party at the Hard Rock.

The cabana we had was quite nice, and had a lot of nice sites to see. This one here was quite delightful.

Big Chris seemed to think so.

Oli decided to soak Jeremy with a bucket full of ice, this was hilarious.
After the afternoon activities, we headed to take naps and rest up for the night ahead of us.
Our dinner started at Nobu, which was delicious. We then headed back to the room to play the celebrity name game, if you don't know what this is, it's quite hilarious.
We all put in $20 per head, there were a total of 18 people so the pot was at $360. The winning team had to take the winnings and go put it on the roulette table and try to double the $. This was one of the most fun we had all weekend. Arguing whether or not some people were famous or not was hilarious.
Oli's team argued quite a few times throughout the game.

The team by the name of the Destroyers thought they took the game and posed for the game winning photo.

However, thanks to Dean, he caught an error on the score card and the winner was our team, the De La Hoyas.

We took the winnings down and put it on black. We won.

We decided to go double again, we lost...off to the club.

Body English night 2 was more fun than the previous night. DJ Vice had the party going crazy.

Oli had a cake brought out for his bday celebration.

Went up Vice's booth to say what up, ran into Tadao as well.

Came back to LA Monday morning in a tear. What a pre-birthday celebration. Can't wait for next weekend...
Check out the recent project that Five Four did with New Era. Only 144 pieces made.

Thanks to Rickey Kim and Hypebeast for featuring it today on their sites.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ANDRES, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
Today I turn 27, damn I'm getting old...
Just got back in from a wild weekend, to say the least, in the city of sin, viva Las Vegas. It was a hard weekend filled with private jets, booze, babes, gambling and food. What a hard life I lead. I'll update when I'm more coherent, hopefully by tonight.
Ciao.
April proved to be another historical month for Five Four for many reasons. As usual, we've been on the grind working, growing, shipping and more shipping...
There's always time for fun though at Five Four, here's some of the latest and greatest.
Went to the Red Bull box for the Lakers vs. Nuggets game, had to go check out my favorite player, AI, who coincidentally shares the same initials as me...

Also, went to go check out the Killers show when it swung through the Staples Center in L.A. The show was amazing, and our seats were right next to the stage.

Apart from the usual partying and more partying and even more partying that I usually put up on here, don't worry, all that continued through April. There are going to be some really crazy photos coming in the next few weeks as May is going to be a wild month. It is my birthday on May 7th, so I have a lot in store for the next 3 weekends, that's right, 3 weekends, including this one.
Check out Five Four in Complex this month...

Also, in Riviera Magazine...

Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley came by the Five Four offices...

Shout out to J Dubb, FF Marketing Director, for getting us plugged in the CMT Music Awards gift bags, check it out in US Weekly this past month.

Mens Style mag in Australia did featured us in their new denim layout for April.

Had a few friends swing by the Five Four office as of late as well.
My friend Chris, which I've known for quite awhile now, moved out to Hong Kong almost 2 years ago and has blown up out there. He's modeling and acting out there, he came by the Five Four offices on a recent L.A. trip. Props to Chris for killing it out in HK.

Peter Mintz, came by last week to visit us at the Five Four offices last week. This guy always has something interesting to say. Had a good time with Peter while he was out in L.A. He's going to be killing it with Five Four out in New York.

Rickey Kim, Evil Monito himself, came by the office this week to chop it up. Always an interesting character, check out his glasses. He has a lot of big projects ahead, one of them being Riottt and even his own sunglasses, made by Mosley Tribes.

Picked up this new print online the other day by Mark Ryden, General Sherman.

Also, went to the L.A. show of his the other day. My friend Gloria came with me, she really liked this work of his, she's really into teddy bears so much her myspace shot has herself with a big teddy bear in it, this reminded her of that...how cute...

Lastly, Davey Detail's (FF Art Director) brother is out in Santiago, Chile teaching. Here's a pic of himself representing Five Four down South.
