Everyone knows Five Four is the coolest place to work in town. Just now before I uploaded this, there was an intense soccer circle going on.
Today was a fun day at the office as usual. One of my closest friends, Jon Alagem, stopped by. You may remember him from the Fall 2006 Five Four campaign or on "PerezHilton":http://www.perezhilton.com/.
He was really fiending for some of the new Five Four jeans.
He tried to get back into the Holiday campaign, he was begging to take some new shots...
If you know Jon, you know he's never lifted a box in his life. I have the never before seen photos of Jon lifting a box!
Woah there guy, we all knew he couldn't make it past 30 feet without a rest.
He had to take a little stretch before getting into his car.
It was also Christine's birthday today!
If you all know KB, this quote makes perfect sense...this is what his English consists of:
This past weekend was another crazy Vegas trip. Oli Trevena and I went up there Saturday morning to meet with his dad who had flown out from England. Also, a couple of our friends from L.A. joined us on Saturday night for a crazy night of partying.
Of course, in good old form, Oli got stopped at the airport for his military pants. Everyone should know by now to not wear any combat type of pants through airport detectors b/c of the multiple snaps on them, always sets off the detectors. Another damn MALE ASSIST!
We stayed at the Palms over the weekend, first time staying there. They just opened up a new tower there, so the rooms were still pretty new and fly.
Since we got in early, we decided to hit up the mall for some shopping as well as some of the hotel shops. I stopped by Dior Homme and copped a new wallet and some cufflinks.
None of us have ever gone to an oxygen bar, so we decided to try it out. Then they gave us scalp massages with this weird mechanism, it was pretty dope.
We went to eat dinner at some Italian place at the Palms, I forget the name of it. The chicken was the shit. Headed to Playboy Club for a bit then headed to Tryst at the Wynn, one of the nicest designed clubs I've been to. For those of you that have been there, you know what I'm talking about. The place has some ridiculous waterfall in the club, it's crazy. We headed there with Oli's dad and friend, our friends from L.A. Rachel and Gloria and met up with our other friends Hillary and Lauren. It was destined to be a wild night.
Oli and I were dressed to impress for the evening.

After partying it up until 4am at the club, we headed back to the Palms for some evil vices...drinking and gambling. Around 6am, Gloria was feeling cold. In rare gentlemanly fashion, I gave her my blazer for her to wear.
Super director Benny Boom stopped by the office last Friday...
Last week we went to NYC for 2 days for some meetings, what a great trip. Everything was going our way...finally.
We took the red eye Monday night out of LAX. Decided to get drunk and eat nachos before our flight.
We got in early Tuesday morning and went straight to our showroom. On the same floor, is the Godfather of streetwear sales, Peter Mintz, linked to many successful brands including Red Monkey, Prohibit, Massive Revolution, Mecca and many many more.
Carissa, our East Coast rep, was pretty bored during our pow wow w/Peter...
Hours later we sat down with Izzy Ezrailson, owner of Up Against The Wall for a couple of hours. He went through our Spring line. Meetings with him always last long. He is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the game, every time we meet with him there's always a lesson to be learned. If there's anyone that we really truly truly respect and admire, it's him.
We then headed out to dinner with him to Blue Ribbon in Soho. It's a favorite stomping ground of Izzy's, he ordered these great appetizers and desserts for the table. Ruth also joined us for both meetings, but she was a little camera shy this evening.
I've never eaten beef marrow, but damn it was good.
Then we headed over to dessert, this banana split was ridiculous.
The night ended around midnight, we were exhausted after the long flight and day full of meetings. We were saving up for Wednesday.
As soon as we woke up we headed out, but unfortunately walked back inside to get some umbrellas. It was raining bad, I mean really bad.
We spent the day shopping and going to stores. Also met up with Merwin who does our Japanese distribution. Indian pow wow session.
We started the night early at around 7pm, going to a long dinner with one of our associates. After the drinking fest we had there, we got ready and headed out and hit the NY nightlife. Hit up multiple spots and finally our night ended at Marquee. By this point we were all pretty messed up, so the only photo I managed to grab was of the one below. Anyways, it was a great time spent there.
The day before we left for New York, we had songwriter Evan Bogart stop by the office. He's the guy that wrote Rihanna's S.O.S. song and countless other hits about to be on the radio. Look out for him.
Also our main man Tony Johnson from Fred Segal stopped by to put in his Spring buy.
Right before I left for NYC, I had to stop by one of my new favorite sushi restaurants in L.A., Sushi Wa.
Our friends Perry, Nick Montealegre and Mikey Lev stopped by the office to jack some more gear. Nick's known to be the warehouse raider.
I also paid a visit to the Marc Jacobs store in L.A. and went wild, I mean wild. Sometimes I have no self control.
These ties are pretty gangster.
Everyone should have a pair of cashmere socks in their collection, they are extremely comfortable.
Their flip flops are dope. Have to always buy 2 of everything in white.
This bag makes a good laptop bag.
Their dress shoes are pretty fly. Not 1, 2...but 3 new fly pair of dress shoes.
These are a must for every player's every day wardrobe. Velcro is back.
Got them in white too.
Lastly, I also went to my friend Jessica's wedding. Brian also was invited, so we went off for the festivities. The event was super plush and the night went well.
The ceremony took awhile to begin, so Brian and I were pounding drinks on the low.
You might've seen this animal on the blog before, but here Brian looks like a good religious guy.
They straight up had an orchestra at the wedding, it was pretty fly.

That's all.
