Francis Bacon's vulture painting might be going for $70 million this May.
Sotheby's is holding the auction in NYC in May and it's European owner is putting it on the selling block after some 30 years. It's sure to create history if it goes for what people are predicting.
The painting by Bacon was crafted when he was living in Paris. The painting pencils in on the legend of Orestes being snowed under by the Furies for its imagery.
