My name is Ajay Relan and I am the creator of the Original Barack Obama Foam Finger: A Piece of History (www.obamafoamfingers.com). My unique promotional item is a great way to support Senator Barack Obama in his quest for the White House.
The hand gesture peace sign, widely used by peace movements in the 1960's and 1970's, is a symbol of victory for peace and truth. From civil rights and defense, to energy and the economy, Barack Obama is the closest presidential candidate we have seen in recent years who understands that to truly solve the problem facing our nation and the communities within, it takes a change in our laws and our politics. He represents change in a climate that does not accept it.
The chief aim of this movement is to increase support for Senator Obama through creating an alternate method of visibility. While signs and posters are the most common form of support at campaign based events, they are sometimes associated with picketing and protesting. The Obama Foam Finger can be used in any setting, in addition to being fun and stylish and was very well received at the Democratic National Convention last month. My product is proudly Made in the USA, with a portion of the retail proceeds going directly to the Obama for America Campaign.
